Free Food Programs
Community is important to us, which is why we spend so much energy on providing resources and serving the community.
We provide resources to help combat food insecurity in our community supported by volunteers and partnerships.
Books & Bread
A free drive-up pop-up pantry available every 4th Wednesday of the month.
- 10:30 – 12:00 a.m. at Church of the Nazarene
This is a free resource thanks to partnerships with Feed My People (Eau Claire), Community First Washburn County, and Shell Lake Public Library.
Compassion Kitchen
A free food resource in our library lobby.
Pick up bags of food and fresh produce from our community garden as needed.
Please provide your houshold information on the clipboard near the food bags. We are required to collect statistics for Feed My People.

These programs are only possible with the support of volunteers who give their time and talents. There are many volunteering options to fit your schedule and skills.
